Teaching

Despite my vehement declarations of never becoming a teacher during my youth, I ended up working for the university teaching. And that isn’t even all, I’ve been a part-time teacher while working for the private sector at the same time. I’ve noticed that I even enjoy teaching, as long as I feel that I’m learning at the same time. I can’t imagine teaching the same courses year after year though.

If the courses name is in Finnish and parenthesized in English, the course was held in Finnish.

  • Database Management Systems [2002]
  • Ohjelmistoprojektityö (Software Project) [2002] [2003]
  • Object-Oriented Programming [2000]
  • Java-ohjelmointi (Java Programming) [2000]
  • And other miscellanious courses for which I have been the
    teaching assistant.
  • Teaching fire and rescue related matters to the general public and call or volunteer firefighters.
